San Antonio Diocese Seminars in 3 Parishes
March 30-31, May 4-5, and November 16-17, 2001 !
Due to popular demand we will again have the honor to participate in a Seminar by John Ream. We can look forward to his return for another acclaimed Effective Father Seminar, in this year of 2001. The dates and locations are March 30-31 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, May 4-5 at Prince of Peace Parish and also November 16-17 at St. Mark the Evangelist Parish.
We, at the Office of Family Life, are coordinating efforts with participants of last year's seminars, which took place in February, September and October 2000. These men are volunteering their time, talent, and abilities to inspire more fathers and grandfathers to attend this truely life-changing event. You will be able to spend a day and one-half with this man and leave a changed person.
Since the responsibilities of running a family are shared with your wife, you will have the opportunity to learn to work and share with her your loving duties as a father.
The cost for this event is more than reasonable - $35.00, which covers the cost of John Ream's book, meals and other materials. There is an optional, but highly recommended 'Couples Night Out' (on Saturday evening) for an additional $20.00. This includes a simple, fulfilling meal and a chance to listen to John Ream with your spouse - to share with her what you learned at this seminar. Scholarships will be available.
Archbishop Patrick F. Flores is most enthusiastic of the results the men enjoyed (on the previous Seminars) as they learned to grow in their roles as better fathers and grandfathers.
