-          Why do I need an Internet presence?

o     Having your business present on the Internet lends credibility about your seriousness about business, that you are up-to-date.  It will bring your business to a potential worldwide market audience.  The opportunities for marketing your business grow significantly with an Internet presence.

 

-          Why choose your service?

o     I want all sorts of small and medium sized businesses to get themselves on the Internet.  You need to know it is not expensive or difficult.  You can start small and simple and remain that way.  But, like most people, you will want your website to grow in response to what your new customer base is asking for.

 

-          Do I need to have you visit in person to set up your services?

o     It is not absolutely necessary for me to visit with you and your business.  But I consider it easier so we can get to know each other and our businesses and then start talking from there.  This is a people relationship business.

 

-          What is the scope of services that you provide?

o     I provide the following services: website design and set up, domain name set up and monthly hosting services.  This is to keep your well deserved Web site active on the Internet.

 

-          Why does your pricing vary?

o     As people and their businesses are unique, so will be your Web site.  Each person and business will have different and special needs.  Therefore different kinds of websites can be set up to meet individual needs.

-          What kind of guarantee(s) do you offer?

o     I will guarantee that the Web site I set up for you will reflect the needs you have requested.  Specifically, if you are not happy within the first month of your Web site active on the Internet, I will refund you the total set up cost (minus the domain registration set up and associated fees).  That domain is now your property for the duration you contracted for with the Domain Registrar.  I pass those expenses directly to you, without adding a profit.

 

-          What if I already have a domain and/or Web hosting?

o     If you already have a domain and/or existing Web hosting you are happy with, that is fine.  I can set up your new Web site to that Internet hosting location.

 

-          Can I link my Web site to other, pre-existing Web sites?

o     You certainly can link to other Internet Web sites, especially those that will be an enhancement to the business you currently conduct.  I would limit the direct links to no more than three (3). 

 

-          Can I link my Web site from another entity’s Web site?

o     It is fine with me that you have your new Web site linked from another site.  As a courtesy, I would have you ask that Web site’s owner for their permission to do so.

 

-          What is the name and origin of your company name and logo?

o  I am glad you asked that question.  DosKas is Spanish for Two K’s.  Since I’m bilingual, and lived some years in México, I thought it would be interesting to have a distinct Spanish name.  Both of my daughters’ names begin with the letter ‘K’.  I wanted to honor my children by naming my business with them primarily in mind.  The logo is set up as a mirrored image ‘K’.
